Equal pay for Equal Work I recalled the one of my friend experience who is employed with MGNREGA in one of Indian State. Since last 10 year he has been working on gross salary of twenty five thousands . And expecting that one day salary would be hike as per norms. I recalled this because ,today news paper carried story about Delhi Chief minister accomodated demand from to increase salary of all contractual workers employed with Delhi State Health Mission (DSHM) related projects. In delhi there are alone 3000 contractual workers employed under this Scheme,work in hospitals as paramedical staff or in the administrative posts Central or State powered scheme employed thousand of youth in hope getting permanent or equal pay to compare their colleague.
