Discussion :Peer Pressure by Rajesh Parashar

I would like to thank you Ma’am given me this topic to discussion on “Peer Pressure”. And appreciate to Dear Friends to listen me attentively.

Peer Pressure play very important role to shape Individual behavior and way of thinking. We as Human being belongs to group and community. We follow community norms and rules to be part of a group.

Why? Because human cannot live in an isolation. Any age group of person get affected due to its peer behavior. This impact is expressed by listening, speaking, appearance and mannerism.

People easily follow their peer mannerism to lead life and try to fulfill his objective. I would like to cite one example here how I chose to my medical career under peer pressure. And I knew that I was unable to do because weakness on physics and mathematics.  I wasted my two year along with my parents’ wealth as well.  

After Some time I realized that I was good to understand philosophical and conceptual background on any given topic and love to read various literature from all domain.  And able to draw conclusion with model and framework on any given topic. I love to share this knowledge to whosoever need it.

In my opinion Peer pressure play dualistic role to affect individual behavior.    During positive influence, individual may learn good thing and shape life prospect. While negative influence can destroy path of life to actualize Self goal.

In my experience we have to identify which one is positive or negative peer pressure that drive us

Global South scholars are missing from European and US journals. What can be done about it South-based scholars are often not part of major debates and conversations in their field. This points to a severe imbalance in the production of new knowledge. Studies have shown that scholars in the global South are under represented in top international peer-reviewed  social  and  medical sciences journals. I t's school time again! And I have 'not got much time to evaluate pre-primary school for my daughter's admission due to work pressure and Delhi winter vacation. It is firm opinion that early childhood learning through play school or formal early elementary school provide a foundation for learning both academically and socially that will help the child to groom and succeed in their elementary school. These early elementary school promotes language, cognitive skills, social and emotional development. We always dream of getting our children placed in good schools but it is a daunting task.
